The main objective of the project is to support the development of a culture of pedagogical and technological innovation in Europe, for the benefit of stakeholders in the area of IST and for all learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). SEN-IST-NET addresses the problem that certain groups of learners are at risk of not being fully involved in new ways of learning, either because of social disadvantages or disability or both. SEN-IST-NET is providing a common platform for discussion and debate, not only on the development of technologies per se but also on the fundamental questions concerning pedagogy and technology-enabled learning.
