The project concerns the development of innovative digital applications using cutting-edge technologies, which accompany the permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Messara and aim to: (a) enrich and highlight three main axes of the Museum, Place, Time and Myth, concepts that intertwine and evolve in parallel in Messara during antiquity, shaping its special cultural character; (b) assist visitors to mentally connect the exhibits with the physical space of their origin and decode their significance for human life in antiquity; (c) guide visitors through the exhibition space through applications that will enrich their experience; (d) support the educational activities of the Museum; (e) promote the Museum and the cultural wealth of Messara; and (f) communicate the Museum's activities to the general public.
