Nikos Stathiakis holds a Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras. He has been Information Security Officer of the Center for eHealth Applications and Services since 2014. His duties concern the implementation and monitoring of the means and procedures for the security of the Center's information, as well as the information systems that the Center develops and puts into operation. His experience includes methods for the secure design and implementation of information systems using international eHealth standards. In the context of his work at the Center for eHealth Applications and Services, he has participated in the implementation of European research projects as well as in the writing of scientific papers. He is certified in IT Service Management by the ITIL organization (ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management).
