Fokion Logothetidis received his Diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Patras, Greece in 1992 and an M.B.A in General Management from the University of Sheffield, England in 1995. He is also certified in IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation). Since November 1996, he has been working at the Center for eHealth Applications and Services (CeHA) of the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH. Throughout his career, he has contributed to numerous European R&D and PCP projects in the eHealth domain, as well as several national operational eHealth initiatives. These include projects such as Bellis - Pharaon, eCare PCP, ROSIA PCP, STARS PCP, CAREMATRIX PCP, RELIEF PCP, e-SENS, Implementation of the Integrated Health Information System for the 1st and 3rd Regional Health Systems of Attica, ADOL, PICNIC, HYGEIAnet, TEMeTeN, TEN-TELEMED, ET-ASSIST among others. His responsibilities in the context of the above-mentioned projects span a wide range of activities, including IT system and service analysis, design, and development, preparation of proposals, project management and coordination, technology evaluation, and the preparation of commercialization and exploitation plans. Currently, his work focuses on overseeing project execution, coordinating the project team in the context of project implementation, coordinating the preparation of proposals for national and European eHealth tenders, and fostering business development and exploitation of R&D results. His professional interests include strategic analysis and planning of IT systems and services in the eHealth domain, new product development as well as innovation and R&D management.
