Dimitris FILIPPIDIS (M) has more than 15 years’ experience in the management and implementation of EU projects under the Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation, while also serving as Horizon 2020 National Contact Point (NCP) for Space from 2015 until 2021, and Horizon Europe NCP for Cluster 2 – Culture, Creativity & Inclusive society in the period 2021-2022. His work has revolved around R&I capacity building in developing countries and the support of SMEs at EU and international level in their development, growth, and internationalization efforts. In his capacity as NCP, he supported the Greek R&I community in its participation in the EU Framework Programmes. Dimitris is currently a senior project manager at the Centre for eHealth Application and Services (CeHA) of the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH) focusing his efforts in the establishment and operation of a Digital Innovation Hub in the field of smart health. Dimitris holds a BSc in Sociology and an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of London.
