The webinar is organized by the “IDEON creativity cradle” project of ICS-FORTH in the context of celebrating 40 years of FORTH.
We invite you to attend this webinar which will cover the science of creativity, using a general "6P" theory as an overarching framework. Various perspectives (e.g., genetic, cognitive, clinical, developmental, organizational) with examples of related research will be presented and several related issues will be explored (e.g., Does creativity peak at a particular age? Is there one "creativity" or does it vary from field to field? Can creativity be enhanced?). Q&A will follow the presentation.

Prof. Mark A. Runco is currently the Director of Creativity Research and Programming at Southern Oregon University. He was Endowed Professor of Creative Studies and Director of the Creativity Center at UGA 2008-2018. He was also founding Editor of the Creativity Research Journal and is now Emeritus Editor as well as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Creativity. He is Past President and Fellow of Division 10 of the American Psychological Association and recipient of various awards, including one for Lifetime Achievement. Prof. Runco co-edited three editions of the Encyclopedia of Creativity and has published approximately 300 articles and chapters on creativity. The 3rd edition of his textbook, Creativity: Research, development, and practice (Academic Press) has been translated into 10 languages.
