Dr. Vasileios Skaramagkas is a Biomedical and AI Engineer holding a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with expertise in multimodal data analysis and deep machine learning methods for neurodegenerative disease diagnosis. He has extensive research experience in Parkinson’s disease, wearable sensing, signal processing, and biomarker extraction, gained through his work at the Computational BioMedicine Laboratory (ICS-FORTH), international research visits, and participation in major European projects. His research has led to more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and conferences, and he possesses strong technical skills in AI frameworks, programming, and experimental design in clinical settings.
