Maria Chatzimina is a PhD candidate at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, working in the field of Biomedical Informatics with a focus on conversational agents, sentiment analysis, and large language models for healthcare applications. She holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business and two MSc degrees from the University of Crete and Université Paris-Sud XI. She works as a Software Engineer at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), where she has participated in multiple EU-funded research projects (Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, FP7), focusing on digital health, mHealth applications and AI-driven decision support systems.
