We seek two experienced members for our team, one Computer Science Post-Doctoral fellow and one MSc holder in Computer Systems / Electronics, with background in European RTD Projects. The candidates will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH-ICS in the context of the H2020 project “Mingei – Representation and Preservation of Heritage Crafts”, funded under Horizon 2020, SC6-TRANSFORMATIONS-2018-2019-2020.

[ICS-1274] Two (2) positions for Postgraduate Research Collaborator
We seek two (2) student members to join our team, at the postgraduate level in the field of Computer Engineering, preferably with background in Distributed Computing Systems, Operating Systems and Communication Networks. The candidates will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the projects: “RESilient transport InfraSTructure to extreme events, RESIST, (Horizon H2020-MG2016-2017/H2020-MG-2017-Two-Stages)” and “THREAT-ARREST: Cyber Security Threats and Threat Actors Training - Assurance Driven Multi-Layer, end-to-end Simulation and Training, (Horizon 2020 - DS07-2017)”. In the context of the above mentioned projects, FORTH, along with the project’s partners, will study and develop security mechanisms for ICT enabled systems. In the context of RESIST project, the candidates will be involved in the provision of secure and resilient communication for critical infrastructure monitoring. In the context of THREAT-ARREST project, the candidates will be involved in the development of a cybersecurity training solution. To this extent, prior experience in cyber-security and system programming are very important qualifications for the position offered.
