We seek one (1) HPC R&D Engineer for our team. The candidates should have proven experience with HPC architectures with strong background in MPI and performance analysis. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the EuroHPC-funded project DARE-SGA1. The DARE project will invigorate the continent’s High Performance Computing ecosystem by bringing together the technology producers and consumers, developing a RISC-V ecosystem that supports the current and future computing needs, while at the same time enabling European Digital Autonomy. DARE takes a customer-first approach (HPC Centres & Industry) to guide the full stack research and development.

We are looking for a Biomedical Engineer to be part of a multidisciplinary team, designing, developing and assessing the projects’ technical platforms and AI prediction models. • Required qualifications: o Bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent science degree o Master degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field o Good knowledge of English. • Desired qualifications: o Experience in the domain of medical imaging with imaging techniques; o Experience and knowledge of machine learning applied to medical data; o Experience in the assessment of AI-based systems o Experience with scientific programming and machine learning frameworks. o Good quality scientific writing skills, as proven by publications or other appropriate means
