The candidate will design and implement a framework enabling efficient and effective data mining and machine learning techniques for heterogeneous and multi‐scale personal health data. [ICS-1659] Call for expression of interest for one (1) position of an Engineer of Computer Science or Engineering Department, in the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH)

We seek one (1) software engineer for our team, to participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project EUROCC: “National Competence Centres in the framework of EuroHPC ”. The EUROCC project aims to elevate the participating countries to a common high level in the fields of HPC, HPDA and artificial intelligence (AI). To this end, the EuroCC project will establish a network of National Competence Centres (NCCs), which will be responsible for surveying and documenting the core HPC, HPDA, and AI activities and competencies in their respective countries. All of this to support and increase the national strengths of High Performance Computing (HPC) competences as well as High Performance Data Analytics (HPDA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities and to close existing gaps to increase usability of these technologies in the different states and thus provide a European excellence baseline.
