Στο πλαίσιο της υλοποίησης της Πράξης/έργου με τίτλο «European Digital Innovation Hub for Smart Health: Precision Medicine and Innovative E-health Services και ακρωνύμιο «smartHEALTH», η οποία συγχρηματοδοτείται μέσω της Δράσης «Ευρωπαϊκοί Κόμβοι Ψηφιακής Καινοτομίας» του Προγράμματος «Ψηφιακή Ευρώπη 2021-2017» και του Προγράμματος «Ανταγωνιστικότητα 2021-2027» με κωδικό Πράξης ΣΑ (2024ΣΕ16370002), το Ινστιτούτο Πληροφορικής του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας (ΙΤΕ - ΙΠ) προτίθεται να απασχολήσει έκτακτο προσωπικό για την πλήρωση μίας θέσης για «Διδακτορικός φοιτητής με αντικείμενο: ανάλυση ιατρικής εικόνας» μέσω σύναψης συμφωνητικού μεταπτυχιακής υποτροφίας και προσκαλεί φυσικά πρόσωπα να εκδηλώσουν το ενδιαφέρον τους για την ανάληψη σχετικού έργου, σύμφωνα με τους όρους που αναφέρονται στη συνέχεια της παρούσας πρόσκλησης.

We seek one (1) student enrolled in a University MSc Program in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the EuroHPC JU-funded project NET4EXA. The NET4EXA project aims to create an advanced interconnect, which will scale to hundreds of thousands of computing nodes and will support modern HPC systems that are designed for massive AI tasks, such as the training of Large Language Models. The interconnect forms the backbone of such systems, and their overall performance is intimately tied to the scalability of the network and its tight coupling with the high-end compute elements.

[ICS-1164] Electrical engineer,Electromagnetic Simulations Developer
We seek an experienced member for our team, holder of an electrical engineering degree and a strong background in software development for electromagnetics simulations. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project VisorSurf - A Hardware Platform for Software-driven Functional Metasurfaces, funded under Horizon 2020, H2020-FETOPEN-1-2016-2017 In the context of VisorSurf project, FORTH, along with the project’s partners, will develop a software framework for designing, profiling and evaluating software-driven metasurfaces. The developed framework will combine a wide array of fully customizable electromagnetic simulations, to study and model the process of tuning a metasurface for a required end-functionality. As such, prior experience in electromagnetic simulation approaches, specialized parallel processing techniques and the associated tools, as well as the ability to communicate with and work as a member of an international, multicultural research consortium, are all very important aspects for the position offered.

We seek an experienced member for our team, holder of a PhD degree in electrical engineering and a strong background in electromagnetic testbed setup and measurements. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project VisorSurf - A Hardware Platform for Software-driven Functional Metasurfaces, funded under Horizon 2020, H2020-FETOPEN-1-2016-2017 In the context of VisorSurf project, FORTH, along with the project’s partners, he/she will setup the experimental testbed required for profiling and evaluating software-driven metasurfaces. The testbed will support a wide array of fully customizable, parametric electromagnetic measurements, to study and evaluate the process of tuning a metasurface for a required end-functionality. As such, prior experience in electromagnetic simulation testbeds, hands-on experience in custom setups and measurements in anechoic chambers and the associated tools (especially for evaluating radiation directivity), as well as the ability to communicate with and work as a member of an international, multicultural research consortium, are all very important aspects for the position offered.
