[ICS-1797] Call for expression of interest for one (1) position of student enrolled to a University MSc Program with physical presence at ICS-FORTH, Heraklion, Crete
We seek one (1) graduate student enrolled in a University MSc Program, to join our team contributing to the DEEP-SEA project. The candidate will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project DEEP-SEA: “DEEP – SOFTWARE FOR EXASCALE ARCHITECTURES”. The EuroHPC Research & Innovation project DEEP-SEA starts in April 2021 and will last for 3 years. It aims at improving software support for highly heterogeneous systems, which combine different processing units and diverse memory technologies. DEEP-SEA adopts the modular supercomputing architecture (MSA), and considers heterogeneity and performance at both the node level and at the system cluster level. Composability, programmability, portability, malleability, and reliability are targeted with a comprehensive system software and programming environment, which combines traditional models (MPI, OpenMP, OmpSs, GASPI) with higher-level, hardware-agnostic approaches (NabLab, DaCe).

[ICS-1794] Call for expression of interest for a position of a post-doctoral Research Associate in the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH)
We seek for one post-doctoral research associate for our team with a background in research and development, including European Research projects. The candidate will participate in the R&D and Management activities of FORTH in the context of the project “Multimodal Extreme Scale Data Analytics for Smart Cities Environments”, funded under H2020-SU-ICT-2018-2020/H2020-SU-ICT-2020-1. The candidate will assist in the research and development activities of MARVEL project, including adaptive architecture distribution and optimisation, resource management, testing, validation, as well as producing research results.
