[ICS-2534] Call for expression of interest for a position of a Software security engineer, for design and development of cloud data security services
Description The candidate will participate in the R&D work of FORTH within the ICUdata4EU project. We are seeking a Software security Engineer, to contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of cybersecurity frameworks for the components of the European ICU Data Space. Required qualifications: o Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent o Good knowledge of English Desired qualifications: o Experience with encryption, authentication, and authorization technologies to ensure cybersecurity and privacy of patient data. o Experience with biomedical data analysis. o Knowledge of biomedical data standards and cybersecurity frameworks. o Experience with scientific programming using MATLAB, Python, C++, and R, including machine learning and deep learning frameworks.

ΟΡΘΗ ΕΠΑΝΑΛΗΨΗ We seek two (2) junior R&D members for our team, with background in European Research Projects. The candidates will participate in the R&D activities of FORTH in the context of the project EVΟLVE: HPC and Cloud Enhanced Testbed for Extracting Value from Large‐scale Diverse Data. The EVOLVE project is a pan European Innovation Action introducing important elements of High‐Performance Computing (HPC) and Cloud in Big Data platforms taking advantage of recent technological advancements to allow existing and emerging applications to keep up with the unprecedented data growth we are experiencing.
