Dr. Paul Selzer is a research executive with more than twenty years of scientific leadership and management at the university and pharmaceutical industry level. Currently, he is heading MSD's global Molecular Discovery Sciences team, which comprises Computational Sciences, Compound Logistics, Assay Development and High Throughput Screening. As a visiting Professor at the University of Tubingen, Germany and Honorary Professor at the University of Glasgow, UK, Dr. Selzer constantly aims at building interactive networks at the national and international level between Industry and Academia.

His research is involved in Antiinfectives and Antiparasitics in Human and Animal Health. His professional experience is broad covering the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Modelling, Chemoinformatics. As well as this he is also editing the book series Drug Discovery in Infectious Diseases.
