Short CV

Dr. Eleftheria Tzamali is a Collaborating Researcher with the Computational Medicine Laboratory (CML) of the Institute of Computer Science, Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH). She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Heraklion, Greece in 2010. She holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Crete with specialization in Atomic-Molecular Physics and Laser and a M.Sc. in Information Processing & Neural Networks from theDepartment of Mathematics, King's College London, UK. Her research interests lie in the area of computational systems biology and focus on the constraint-based modeling framework of metabolism for the understanding of the metabolic requirements of cancer cells as well as the development of multi-scale, spatiotemporal models of cancer growth.
