Curriculum Vitae

I am a Phd student at University of Crete, department of Computer Science and currently working at the Computational Vision and Robotics Laboratory (CVRL) of the Foundation for Reasearch and Technology - Hellas (FORTH).

I received my Diploma in Information & Communication Systems Engineering from the University of the Aegean in 2005 and the MSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete in 2008.

My MSc thesis was entitled "Probabilistic Gesture Recognition" and was about recognizing human gestures uwing upper body kinematics. My research interests include background subtraction, human tracking, human-robot interaction and gesture recognition.

My research interests include computer vision, robot navigation, background subtraction, human tracking and gesture recognition.
