Michael C. Ligerakis brief C.V.
Michael was born in Heraklion,
Crete,
Greece on September 19, 1968.
He received his diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Electrical Engineering
Department, School of of Applied Technology,
Technological Educational Institute of Crete in 1992.
His diploma work was the design and implementation of a
Data Logger based on Intel's 80C32 microcontroller.
From October 1991 until December 1992 he
worked as an undergraduate student in the Hardware Lab at the
Institute of Computer Science at
FORTH implementing
various microcontroller based cards and supporting the Systems Administration Group.
From April until June 1992 he worked -as an exchange student - in the
Lab f. Prozessdatenverarbeitung at the Informatik Dept of the
Technishe Fachhocshcule Berlin, at
Berlin,
Germany.
Since June 1994, he works as an Electronic Systems Technician, in the Digital Systems Lab,
Computer ARchitecture and VLSI Systems Division,
Institute of Computer Science, FORTH, implementing and testing digital hardware.
Since September 1994 he is also with the Hardware Lab., Computer Science Group, General
Sciences Dept, Technological Educational Institute of Crete.
