Some information about myself

My name is Nikolaos Kyriazis and I am from Peristeri, Athens, Greece. I currently live in Heraklion, the capital of beautiful Crete, that is conveniently located a bit off the center of the big Greek island.
I am currently a PhD candidate student at the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete. I am also a member of the Computer Vision and Robotics Laboratory (CVRL) of the Institure of Computer Science (ICS) at the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH). I study "computational methods for observing and understanding the interaction of human and robotic systems with objects of their environment" under the supervision of Associate Professor A. A. Argyros.
My research interests regard Computer Vision, Physics Simulation, Computer Graphics, Software Engineering and Performance Computing. I have a programming experience over several platforms, i.e. various Operating Systems, Programming Languages and Target Hardware. For more information please refer to my academic CV.
