Giorgos Flouris - fgeo@ics.forth.gr http://www.ics.forth.gr/~fgeo Giorgos Flouris is a Research and Development Engineer at the Institute of Computer Science in FORTH. His research interests lie mainly in the areas of knowledge representation and reasoning, belief revision and the semantic web. He has a bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Athens and an MSc and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Crete. He has worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Istituto della Scienza e delle Tecnologie della Informazione (ISTI) of CNR in Italy, under an ERCIM "Alain Bensoussan" post-doctoral fellowship. Giorgos has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, mostly in the area of semantic web, and has received a number of fellowships and awards for his work. Giorgos has been involved in the EU projects PlanetData, APARSEN, KP-Lab and CASPAR, is a member of the steering committee of the International Workshop on Ontology Dynamics (IWOD) series and of the Joint Workshop on Knowledge Evolution and Ontology Dynamics 2011 (EvoDyn-11), and has co-edited the Special Issue on Recent Advances in Ontology Dynamics of the Journal of Logic and Computation.
