I2Cnet the followup project to I2C (1995-1997), involves a network of image description servers based on I2C and operating over the World Wide Web. Through a WWW browser, I2C clients will enjoy reliable network-transparent content-based access to distributed image repositories maintained by I2C servers. Recent work of Catherine  (1997- ) addresses technical aspects related to the provision of integrated services over regional telematics networks. In specific, she has been involved in projects that address design, development, and interworking of middleware services in a regional healthcare information infrastructure:

We have also worked on providing access to a cardiology information system using Internet technologies (joint work with P.J. Lees).
