Abstract:
The wandering token idea relies on a reliable token passing protocol. Such protocol must ensure that the token loss event is infrequent, and that duplication never occurs. In addition, it must allow mutual authentication among the partners. The seminar presents a technical solution to such problems, using a 4 ways UDP protocol. A Perl implementation of our solution is currently under test, and the presentation is somewhat technical.
