8th FORTH SYMPOSIUM

The 8th FORTH
Symposium will take place in Rethymnon, at the Rithymna Beach
Hotel (5*), on October 12 and 13. The Symposium goals are : to encourage FORTH people to build on their knowledge about research, teaching and learning, to develop relationships among colleagues across Institutes, and to share innovative ideas and approaches for enhancing research and learning. It can serve as a spring board for dialogue and the creation of new initiatives. The program this year includes 3 focused interdisciplinary research themes, namely, 1) Sensing & actuation: merging the physical and virtual worlds, 2) Energy, environment and space, and 3) Systems biology. In addition, the program will include a round table on funding and communicating research. Distinguished invited plenary speakers from Greece and abroad will address the Symposium and FORTH researchers will report on their interdisciplinary work. The event's program [.pdf] (in Greek) |
