Human Network for Cultural Informatics

Main objective of the Human Network for Cultural Informatics is to promote the collaboration among research teams, laboratories, firms and cultural organisations, which are active in the field of cultural informatics in Greece.

The Human Network for Cultural Informatics will provide a framework to promote informing, instructioning, problematazing and configuration of viewpoints and plans, through the organization of conferences, seminars and the creation and maintenance of a site in the WWW, http://www.ics.forth.gr/CULTUREnet, which keeps a record and can serve as guide to other relevant activities.

The activities of the network are open to the public and the deriving informational material is available to institutions or individuals, which are active in the related fields. This way, the formation of a scientific community for cultural informatics in Greece can be facilitated.

The Human Network for Cultural Informatics is funded by the General Secretariat for Research & Technology-GSRT (GR).
