Main Conference (September 6-9, 2010)
  • Orals

    • Sessions: Check the ECCV Program web page for the day, time and session of your oral presentation.
    • Timing: 20 minutes have been allocated to each oral presentation. This includes speaker setup, talk and question period. Please leave at least 2 minutes for questions.
    • Projection: There will be a laptop projection only. Laptop projectors have a maximum resolution of 1024x768. There will be no VCR, and no overhead projectors.
    • Important: Please be in the lecture hall at least 15 minutes before the start of your session. Introduce yourself to your session chair, get any last-minute instructions from him/her, and make sure your laptop works. In particular, all speakers must check before the session begins that the laptop & projector work together.

  • Posters

    • Sessions: Check the ECCV Program web page for the day, time and session of your poster presentation. Poster boards will be numbered. Your poster number is available at the ECCV program.
    • Timing: Posters can be up during the entire day.
    • Poster boards: The poster boards have a landscape setup. Their dimensions are 200cm wide and 250cm high. The maximum size of a poster that can be attached is 195cm (76in) wide and 100cm (39in) high. The stationery needed to attach a poster to the boards will be provided.
    • Power supply: 220V/50Hz power supply (one type-E "French'' socket per poster) will be available next to each poster for additional notebook presentations. Please bring your own socket adapter.

  • Poster Spotlights

    • Prior to each poster session, there is a ˝ hour plenary spotlights session where presenters can "advertise" their posters. Given that the number of posters per session ranges from 32 to 38, the time allocated to each of them is less than 60sec.
    • Be present at Zeus Hall at least 15 min before your session starts. The session chair and an ECCV 2010 volunteer wil give you further guidelines regarding seating and presentation.
    • Each spotlight presentation should consist of exactly one slide. All slides will run automatically, so please give your microphone to the next presenter and leave the podium once your slide is flipped. You will not have access to the computer running the presentations and your slide should contain no "clickable" animations.
    • A Microsoft Powerpoint presentation template is available here. All spotlight presentations should be submitted though CMT until August 25, 2010.
    • The filename of your submitted spotlight presentation should be of the form "XX-YYY.ppt", where "XX" stands for the poster session identifier and "YYY" for the poster ID, as those appear in the ECCV’2010 program. As an example, the filename for the poster 48 of the evening session on Tuesday, Sep. 8 2010, should be named "T2-048.ppt".
