DIRECTIONS:
The meeting is hosted by the Institute of Computer Science of FORTH (ICS-FORTH).
FORTH is located in Crete, approximately 7 km south-west from the city of Heraklion,
at Vassilika Vouton.
The Greek name for FORTH is "ITE", initials for Ίδρυμα Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας
("Idrima Technologias ke Erevnas").
Getting there:
•A shuttle bus between the Atlantis hotel and FORTH will be arranged in the
morning and evening.
The shuttle will leave the hotel for FORTH at 9:00 on Monday and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday,
and will leave FORTH at the end of the meeting on both Monday 27/4 and Tuesday 28/4.
• If alternative means of transport are required, taking a taxi to/from FORTH is
recommended (Tel.: +30-2810-211-212, +30-2810-210-102). Indicative prices:
Airport-Atlantis hotel: €15 and approx. 20 min.
Atlantis hotel-FORTH: €15 and approx. 30 min.
Airport -FORTH: €15 and approx 30 min.
• Public transportation: Bus service, linking FORTH to the city of Heraklion, is
available, although relatively infrequent. The ticket price is €1.30 (one way).
