Workshops and Tutorial Courses are planned within CGI 2004.

Prospective organizers should submit their workshop or tutorial proposal to cgi2004@ics.forth.gr by December 12, 2003.



Workshop Proposals (half a day)

Proposals for workshops related to all areas of the topics of the conference are solicited for consideration and affiliation with CGI2004. The purpose of these workshops is to address specific topics that are at the forefront of research and provide a platform for promoting novel ideas and innovative techniques in the field. They also offer a good opportunity for young researchers to present their work and to obtain feedback from an interested community.

Submission details
  • A workshop proposal should contain the following information:
    1. Workshop title
    2. A statement of goals for the workshop
    3. The names and affiliations of the organizers. They should also provide a brief description of their background, and related publications and research
    4. Names of potential participants, such as program committee members
    5. A description of the plans for call for participation (e.g., call for papers)
    6. Expected number of attendees
    7. The URL of the workshop web site
  • Researchers are invited to submit workshop proposals to cgi2004@ics.forth.gr by December 12, 2003
  • Submission may be made by e-mail (Postscript, PDF, or Word) with "CGI2004 Workshop Submission" in the subject header.

Tutorial Courses Proposals

Proposals for tutorial courses related to all areas of the topics of the conference are solicited for consideration and affiliation with CGI2004. The purpose of these tutorial courses is to provide a detailed and in-depth coveragre of certain areas and also expose the audience to recent advances in them.

Submission details
  • A tutorial course proposal should contain the following information:
    1. Tutorial Course title
    2. The names and affiliations of the organizers. They should also provide a brief description of their background, and related publications and research
    3. A short description of the content of the tutorial course (e.g., table of contents)
    4. Expected number of attendees and lenght of the course (less than half-day)
    5. The URL of the tutorial course web site
  • Researchers are invited to submit tutorial course proposals to cgi2004@ics.forth.gr by December 12, 2003
  • Submission may be made by e-mail (Postscript, PDF, or Word) with "CGI2004 Tutorial Course Submission" in the subject header.
