- The Digital Patient working group had a strong show as the overwhelming majority of its members attended the ICT-BIO 2008 event. Thus most members had a chance to meet and exchange ideas.
- The DP WG supported and attended the 1st Transatlantic Workshop on Multi-scale Cancer Modeling

which was co-organized and co-chaired by Georgios Stamatakos, a founding member of the working group. - Organisation of a parallel session entitled "Digital Patient Simulation and modeling of Pathophysiology" in the context of the 1st International Conference on Digital Human Modeling (ICDHM 2007), that will be held in Beijing, P.R. China, 22 - 27 July 2007.
